There’s an increasing number of scams affecting Australian consumers and everyone is a potential target.
Whilst these scams can take a variety of forms, including via website, email, text and social media promotions, they’re all designed to look legitimate in order to try and trick you into sharing your personal and financial details.
Scammers will often mark their requests as being “urgent” or include a threat of negative consequence if you don’t act quickly – all done to increase the chance a consumer will click on their link.
To help avoid scams when dealing with Metricon, please note we will never send you an email or request asking you to pay into a bank or BPAY account that is different to the details contained on this page.
